[ MOB WOOL ] 特別なウール

There's a lot of wool out there these days but nothing like MOB. For ski touring in Montana,where it can be very cold, having a base-layer that can manage moisture is key.
If you've ever been to Montana, you know that the approaches can be really long, as the access is still very primitive. For big days where I might be climbing for hours before we're near skiable terrain, its very easy to sweat through a baselayer, especially with a heavy pack on. I used to always carry an extra shirt should I ever need to change during the day and ever since wearing MOB, I haven't needed to. After havingused other brands wool baselayers, I thought they all performed OK, then I tried MOB – it's truly an amazing fabric.
Plus, in America, there is no apparel that sounds as cool as Master of Bishu.

近年は多くのウール製品が市場に登場していますが「MOB」は特別です。非常に気温の低いモンタナ州でのスキーツーリングの際には、ウェア内の湿度をコントロールできるベースレイヤーは重要です。もしあなたがモンタナ州を訪れたことがあるなら、アプローチが極めて長かったり、原始的な手段に頼らざるを得ない状況はご存知でしょう。特別な日には、滑走斜面まで長時間のハイクアップが必要な時もあります。

そうした状況下で装備を背負っていれば、発汗は容易に起こります。以前は日帰りのバックカントリーに、着替え用のベースレイヤーを携行していました。しかし「MOB WOOL」を着用するようになってからはその必要がなくなりました。多くのブランドのメリノウールベースレイヤーを着用してきましたし、その機能も良いものでした。しかし、「MOB WOOL」はそれ以上に素晴らしい素材だと実感しています。

さらに言えば、アメリカには「MOB（マスターオブ尾州）」のようにCool な製品は存在しません。
